"A car bomb planted in central London would have caused "carnage" if it had exploded, police say" BBC news (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6252276.stm). In the afternoon the whole block from my work was closed due to another alert and there has been a couple of more cases during the day.

The environment today in the streets reminds me those times in Peru fifteen years back when the terrorism was very strong and people were very uncertain in the streets. My cooleagues leaving the office today saying "be careful" was similar to the "Take care of yourself " "Cuidate" of those years in Peru.
