When some hours seem a life - There is still a hope!
So this is it. I went to the embassy this morning to vote for the national president elections of Peru.
Besides of the fact that most of the people around me were peruvian women and dutch men carrying babies, everything was as normal as in Peru...
I am arriving home being 11:46 in Rotterdam, and the real time transmitions of the local channels do not work... I got to know from my peruvian friends thar either Humala (main leader for the attack to the local government in Puno were a lot of people were killed) and also compared to Chavez is on top of the first announced results together with Alan garcia, our former president who left the country with the highest inflation in the history nor only of Peru but also in the history of the world...

The only texts I see in the msn are:
"que no cunda el panico" - "That the panic does not take the people"
" hay aun esperanza" - Is there still any hope?" -
"Pasalo Lourdes pasalo" "Lourdes go over him"

Lets see what happens in the next hour. In the meantime, I will find out about how to apply for politic asilum...
